To be admitted as a transfer student, you must have completed at least 12 college level credits, after high school graduation, from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Admission as a transfer student requires a college/university cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0/4.0.*
If you completed less than 12 college level credits, our decision will be based on meeting the First Time in College admission requirements.
*Nursing, Engineering, and Business programs require a higher cumulative GPA for admission and/or specific course requirements.
Transfer applicant must submit the following:
- An application for admission
- $25 application fee
- $30 transcript evaluation fee
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
- Official high school transcripts and rSAT/ACT test scores (if you have earned less than 24 college level credits)
Transferring from another Purdue Campus
Students who want to transfer from another campus in the Purdue system must still complete our undergraduate application as an inter-campus transfer.
We can collect your official transcript from Purdue University; you do not need to request one be sent to us.
Students with International transcripts
If you are a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (non-citizen), asylee or refugee with an international transcripts from accredited secondary schools (high schools), colleges or universities; you are required to submit all official academic transcripts and graduation certificates directly from the issuing institution with true and attested English translations of those documents. You must submit ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators) or WES (World Education Service) course-by-course evaluations.
